Heinlein engineered his own nerdy solution to a problem common to famous authors: how to deal with fan mail. In the days before the internet, Heinlein’s solution was fabulous. He created a one page FAQ answer sheet – minus the questions. Then he, or rather his wife Ginny, checked off the appropriate answer and mailed it back.

Abe Weisburd (1907-1995) was a radical activist and journalist who wrote regularly for the National Guardian (aka Guardian), a leftist weekly newspaper (1948-1992). This collection contains color slides and a scrapbook, which primarily date from the 1970s and early 1980s. The slides incorporate both his private travel slides and his political travel slides spanning the years 1969-1984. The scrapbook contains writings by Weisburd, biographical notes, photos, and letters from friends and family.
