- 2022 - Non-Euclidean Doom: what happens to a game when pi is not 3.14159… (YouTube)
We all know that the value of pi is a constant with a particular immutable value. Anyone who has done any graphical programming also knows that visual rendering relies not just on pi but trigonometry more broadly as well as other mathematical techniques. If we look into the source code of the first person shooter Doom we find that the value of pi used in the game is wrong. In this talk I will explore what happens when we subtly and not so subtly break math in the source.

- Blyth Park (wta.org)
Blyth Park lies along the Sammamish River in the City of Bothell. Near the park entrance are all the amenities you would expect: a large parking lot, restrooms, plenty of picnic tables and a playground. One of the main attractions here is the 10-hole disc golf course (watch out for flying discs, some of the holes run across the trail!).
- Sammamish River Trail (wta.org)
The Sammamish River Trail is a 9.5-mile trail with one end at Marymoor Park in Redmond, passing through Woodinville, and the other end at Blythe Park in Bothell. At Blyth Park, it connects with the Burke-Gilman Trail and continues another 18.8 miles ending at Golden Gardens in Seattle.
