2 Corinthians in Greek (ancientlibrary.net) In the most personal of his letters, the apostle Paul defends his ministry to a church that had begun to doubt him. 2 Corinthians, a first-century epistle of the Greek New Testament written in Koine Greek, mingles anguish with reconciliation, promotes a collection for the believers in Jerusalem, and answers rivals Paul ironically calls super-apostles.

But like one walking alone and in the dark, I resolved to proceed so slowly and with such circumspection, that if I did not advance far, I would at least guard against falling.
