The Kitsap Peninsula is in the Puget Sound of Washington State, between the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. It is almost an island, connected to the mainland by only a 2 mi (3.2 km) wide stretch of land near Belfair. Quaint harbor towns and beaches ring a thickly-forested interior that offers a variety of parks, golf courses and endless rural charm.

Alejandro Jodorowsky Prullansky (Spanish: [xoðoˈɾofski]; born 17 February 1929) is a Chilean and French avant-garde filmmaker. Known for his films El Topo (1970), The Holy Mountain (1973) and Santa Sangre (1989), Jodorowsky has been “venerated by cult cinema enthusiasts” for his work which “is filled with violently surreal images and a hybrid blend of mysticism and religious provocation”.
