- Carr Inlet, in southern Puget Sound in the U.S. state of Washington, is an arm of water between Key Peninsula and Gig Harbor Peninsula. Its southern end is connected to the southern basin of Puget Sound. Northward, it separates McNeil Island and Fox Island. The northern end of Carr Inlet is named Henderson Bay, which feeds into Burley Lagoon.

Gunn Peak is the highest point of Wild Sky Wilderness, with a summit elevation of 6240’. The mountain is also the 29th-most prominent peak in Washington, with 3651’ of prominence. The mountain is fairly isolated, with the next highest peak being located over 10 miles away. The summit offers a complete 360° panoramic location, with far-ranging views of jagged peaks and rugged valleys in all directions, solidifying its place as the “crown jewel” of the Wild Sky Wilderness area.
