- Enki (Sumerian: đđđ DEN-KI) is the Sumerian god of water, knowledge (gestĂș), crafts (gaĆĄam), and creation (nudimmud), and one of the Anunnaki. He was later known as Ea (Akkadian: đđđ) or Ae in Akkadian (Assyrian-Babylonian) religion, and is identified by some scholars with Ia in Canaanite religion. The name was rendered Aos in Greek sources (e.g. Damascius).
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
