Potholes State Park (Wikipedia) Potholes State Park is a public recreation area on the southern shore of Potholes Reservoir, located 13 miles (21 km) south of Moses Lake and 13 miles (21 km) northwest of Othello in Grant County, Washington. The state park was created following the completion of the O’Sullivan Dam in 1949. The park’s 773 acres (313 ha) include 6,000 feet (1,800 m) of shoreline and facilities for camping, hiking, boating, swimming, fishing, and other water activities. The park has access to Potholes Reservoir.

Geometry (Wikipedia) Geometry (from Ancient Greek γεωμετρία (geōmetría) ’land measurement’; from γῆ (gê) ’earth, land’, and μέτρον (métron) ‘a measure’) is a branch of mathematics concerned with properties of space such as the distance, shape, size, and relative position of figures. Geometry is, along with arithmetic, one of the oldest branches of mathematics. A mathematician who works in the field of geometry is called a geometer. Until the 19th century, geometry was almost exclusively devoted to Euclidean geometry, which includes the notions of point, line, plane, distance, angle, surface, and curve, as fundamental concepts.
