- Gig Harbor Peninsula is an informal name for the peninsula on Kitsap Peninsula that contains Gig Habor and Artondale. It is surrounded by Henderson Bay and Carr Inlet to the west, Hale Passage to the southwest, Tacoma Narrows to the southeast, and the southern part of Colvos Passage to the east. The peninsula is primarily in Pierce County, although a sliver of Kitsap County to the north may be included depending on how boundaries are defined. This is the peninsula reached when crossing the Tacoma Narrows Bridge from Tacoma. The name and definition is not formalized.
