Although the details of the transfer of his property remains clouded, we do know that on December 29, 1939, thirteen years after his death [Howard H. Hamlin], the Seattle Trust and Savings Bank donated eight acres of section 9 to King County for the original Hamlin Park.
It’s possible that [Howard H.] Hamlin never even saw the section 9 property, although he did work with Ole Hanson (developer of Lake Forest Park) and other prominent real estate developers in the area in planning development for northwest King County.
