Nestled between the Cascade Range and the Yakima River in Kittitas County is a landscape shaped by fire and water. Visitors to “The Teanaway”—as the locals call it—will discover rocks and fossils that are millions of years old. Massive lava flows and ancient coastlines form the bedrock of the Teanaway Community Forest. With lush forests and flowing rivers, the area provides not only a stunning backdrop for outdoor recreation but also vital wildlife habitat and forest resources. More than 50,000 acres were purchased in 2013 by Washington’s Department of Natural Resources and Department of Fish and Wildlife to establish Teanaway Community Forest. The Teanaway Community Forest features three campgrounds and miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and more (including groomed snowmobile trails in the winter!)
In reality there are as many religions as there are individuals…. Religions are different roads converging to the same point. What does it matter that we take different roads, so long as we reach the same goal. Wherein is the cause for quarreling?
