The proposed Steelhead County Park is along the Skykomish River. This part of the shoreline makes a turn, enabling a buildup of small eroded rocks. Shallow water is flowing over the rocks.
Shulgin was born in Berkeley, California, to Theodore Stevens Shulgin (1893–1978) and Henrietta D. (Aten) Shulgin (1894–1960).
