- The Asotin Creek Wildlife Area is located mostly in Asotin County and partially in Garfield County, and covers approximately 36,500 acres, including nearly 6,000 acres leased from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The wildlife area is set primarily among shrubsteppe, grasslands and dry coniferous forests habitats. Deer, elk, turkey, quail, chukar, grouse, and many other species afford a variety of wildlife viewing and hunting opportunities.

The Asotin Creek Unit is comprised of grasslands and forests spread across portions of the North and South Forks of Asotin Creek, Charley Creek, and Lick Creek drainages. Diverse wildlife afford a variety of hunting and wildlife viewing opportunities for sportsmen, hunters, and nature enthusiasts.

The George Creek Unit is comprised of steep rocky canyons with riparian habitat in the canyon bottoms. George Creek forms the largest sub-basin within the Asotin Creek watershed, but this creek, along with its tributaries Pintler and Rockpile creeks, has no surface flow for the majority of the lower reaches.
