Building on an earlier letter to the same church, 2 Thessalonians is an epistle of the Greek New Testament attributed to the apostle Paul and written in Koine Greek in the first century AD. It reassures the congregation at Thessalonica that the day of the Lord has not yet arrived — a man of lawlessness must first be revealed — and rebukes members who have stopped working.

It is located at the tip of West Point, near the West Point Lighthouse. Operated by King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD), the plant handles significant wastewater and stormwater flows from the City of Seattle and other nearby communities. In 2017, the plant suffered a catastrophic flood that disabled it for months.
