- find, create, or edit a comprehensive OpenStreetMap relation/way for Youngs Creek. The current OSM link does not seem to include some parts in the far upper stream section of the creek.
- Youngs Creek has two notable waterfalls in the Marckworth State Forest. Both waterfalls are easily accessed from the road. A Discover Pass is required.
- Gunn Peak (summitpost.org)
Gunn Peak is the highest point of Wild Sky Wilderness, with a summit elevation of 6240’. The mountain is also the 29th-most prominent peak in Washington, with 3651’ of prominence. The mountain is fairly isolated, with the next highest peak being located over 10 miles away. The summit offers a complete 360° panoramic location, with far-ranging views of jagged peaks and rugged valleys in all directions, solidifying its place as the “crown jewel” of the Wild Sky Wilderness area.
